Desert Dreamings 2006: Stars of the Desert exhibition Artitja Fine Art held last year between 13-29 October at the Old Royal George Gallery in East Fremantle was a huge success! The night was topped off by special guest and Star of the Show Gloria Tamerre Petyarre singing her Mountain Devil Lizard dreaming story. The show was once again opened by Barry Strickland. Noongar Artist and Bush Sculptor Janine McAullay Bott was the other Star of the show on the evening. Unbeknown to all - Janine, after meeting Gloria the evening before the show's opening, had woven a Mountain Devil Lizard to give to Gloria - much to Gloria's absolute delight!
