Artitja Fine Art held its first public exhibition in the beautiful Old George Gallery in East Fremantle, Western Australia in March 2004. Titled Desert Dreamings: Art from the Central and Western Desert, the exhibition was extremely well received. Here are some photos of our March exhibition.

Desert Dreamings II: The Bush Yam Story featuring three generations of the same family, including works from the great artist Emily Kngwarreye, Anna Price Petyarre, Dolly Mills Petyarre and Greeny Purvis Petyarre and his daughters Maureen and Jennifer was held in October 2004.
Over 1500 people came through this highly regarded exhibition, with many getting the opportunity to meet Anna Price Petyarre, who flew in especially for opening night, and stayed on for a few days.
Janelle Stockman Napaltjarri’s works featured as our ‘new, emerging artist’ – for more of Janelle’s works see our gallery page 5.
